Summer is here, and so is the summer heat! Now, I donโ€™t know about you, but the last thing I want to do is layer on uncomfortable clothes, tight tops, and, well, shorts that can be not only uncomfortable but oddly enough make you hotโ€ฆ and not in the rocking diva way!

Sooo what to wear on such days of blistering heat and comfort-seeking days?! Two words, Wrap Dresses. If you havenโ€™t had the honor to rock these during the summer, well, here is your chance.

These are definitely a must-have for this season. Almost like a robe, as easy and comfortable as that.

Smart Glamour Eloise Flutter Wrap Dress

The Eloise Flutter Wrap Dress is a new SG classic โ€“ as chic as it is comfortable.

It is halfway between a real wrap and faux wrap โ€“ it buttons once on the inside and tied in a bow on the opposite outside.

The hem is a gradual high low, and the sleeves are a gorgeous flutter silhouette that mimics the skirt shape.

REBDOLLS "REFRESHING" WRAP AROUND MAXI DRESS

This sunny and bright yellow wrap dress from Rebdolls is perfect for a date night or brunch with friends!

What do you think of these 7 finds? Did you see any that pique your interest?

These wrap dresses are so versatile! They give us so many options in styling with different colors, patterns, leg, and arm lengths! Another really cool benefit about wrap dresses is that they work for various shapes, heights, and personal styles!

Also, theyโ€™re the perfect look for every occasion; a midday brunch, shopping with friends, and depending on the finish and style, a night out for cocktails!

In my opinion, but please let me know what you think, short-length wrap dresses would look great during the day. Of course, you match it up with some sandals or some cute flats if you donโ€™t want to be too dressy.

For a night out, the maxi wrap dress would look awesome picture yourself walking in like royalty with that amazing drape of the skirt, catching in the windโ€ฆ Okay, obviously, I am a fan of this dress style. ย

BUT! The best part is when it comes to accessorizing your looks! The more minimal the accessories, the better!

Soooo tell me, tell me! Which is your fave?!

Do you see yourself rocking these this summer? Will you be adding a wrap dress or two to your closet? Thatโ€™s a purchase you wonโ€™t regret!

Until next timeโ€ฆ

That is a horrible wrap dress. There are literally millions that are better. But hey, itโ€™s โ€œplusโ€ size, so by some kind of law it MUST have: an irrational hemline; peasant-style sleeves that are too short; flouncy ruffles in an inane placement. It would make a great shepherdess costume, though, if thatโ€™s the kind of place where you work or like to spend your free time.

As for the wrap dress in general? The basic sleek design Diane Von Furstenberg made popular in the 70โ€™s could easily work for many plus sized women, even if the plus size law dictated that an uneven hem and sleeves that wonโ€™t ever be cut longer than 3/4 length be involved. It just doesnโ€™t ever work on my plus sized body.
