We are kicking off Plus Size Bridal Week with a spotlight on YOU, the plus size brides who took our breath away and stunned on their big day!
Are you familiar with Kay Unger dresses? I remember in my former life, working in retail that I often found myself enamored with the collections that came from this designer. There were always feminine cuts, playful patterns, and a solid dash of sex appeal.
Lately, Kay Unger has been delivering the same appeal in its plus size offerings, especially at Saks Fifth Avenue, Salon Z. I always see tons of leg, playful prints and embellishments, and unique silhouettes that cater to the chic and sophisticated plus size shopper. Especially the more daring of them…
Today’s Gotta Have It is one that I see making its way into your closet and onto your curves for a variety of reasons. From desk to drinks, this Kay Unger Plus Size Digital Print Dress offers variety and style in sooo many different ways. Since prints for spring range from the pop art to floral to digital, this dress is sure to be on trend and last you a few seasons of playful wear.
I can see this dress with a boxy blazer or cardigan on top for a tempered day look. With a switch of the heel and the accessories, you automatically have a dress that you can go out with your girls for drinks with or a playful date night option. Because of this print, you can pull out a variety of the hues and contrast just as nicely!
Also, depending on how tall or short you are, you can alter this dress without losing the integrity or original design… How about that!?! I also love that this Kay Unger dress gives us a full sleeve option, rather than the basic ¾ length most designers opt for.
You can score this dress from Saks Fifth Avenue here!
Now, one thing I wish that Kay Unger did was support their plus sizes on their website. There are quite a few fabulous options there! I went through and chosen a few faves I would love to see in plus sizes… I really think they have the foundation to create and include plus sizes online as well! In their main range, they go up to a size 18, but their plus size range is not represented but on Saks Fifth Ave- Salon Z.
Here are a few faves:
Could you see these in plus as well? This is the perfect contemporary brand to step into the plus size arena full force, since they have such a strong presence on Saks! Yes?
