First Look: Lafayette 148 NY Plus Size Fall 2014 Look Book

There are quite a lot of brands who fashion their clothes in plus sizes, do fancy look books, but exclude plus sizes in its presentation. Hell, there are quite a lot of brands who won’t even acknowledge their plus size segment- AT ALL. HOWEVER, this is not the case with Lafayette 148 Plus Size. On their website, you see a fancy section for the plus size women, and you see varied looks that are styled together with the straight sized model. BUT TODAY, I am really hyped to share with you the Lafayette NY 148 PLUS SIZE Fall 2014 LOOK BOOK.

And the look book is nice you guys. This higher end, luxury plus size label delivers class, sass, chic appeal, and an aspiration. If I worked as an executive in a creative space, was the owner of a firm, curated art, I could see myself in a few pieces from Lafayette 148. As a blogger, there are fantastic pieces that I would have live in my closet forever, especially their leathers and wool coats!

You see what I mean? This is fantastic, classy, edgy, forward for Lafayette 148 and I have long wanted this from them I am so happy that they have done this and put together a fantasmical look book that showcases beauty, fashion, edge- all of what the brand is about but in an editorial way.

I hope that this inspires other brands who do fashion look books, to see what can be done, what we like, and where they can take this- all from a fashion perspective. We need more and want more and Lafayette 148 just said what’s up to all of the department store and standalone brands. In my head this look book did. Like hello ASOS, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Eileen Fisher. You all do fab art and look book for your straight sized girls, can we get a piece of that?
