Finding the perfect bra has long been a challenge for plus size women. Often, the struggle isn’t just about finding bras that fit—it’s about discovering lingerie that combines comfort, support, and honestly, that is cute. CUUP, a brand celebrated for redefining minimalist intimates with a modern approach to undergarments, is stepping up to the plate with a much-anticipated expansion into plus sizes.
We have often been an afterthought in the lingerie industry, relegated to overly practical, matronly designs. But CUUP aims to change that narrative by offering pieces that exude sophistication and modernity.
Their new extended band range, which now includes sizes band sizes up through a 46-50E cup, is here to shake things up for plus size women. And we at The Curvy Fashionista couldn’t be more excited to explore what this means for us.
Right on the heels of the Eloquii acquisition, Full Beauty acquired CUUP in July 2023. Expanding their size ranges was only a natural next step into the plus size lingerie space. At a time where Savage Fenty disrupted inclusive lingerie, where Victoria’s Secret has stumbled their inclusive entry, outside of Cacique, Torrid, and the handful of plus size lingerie designers and brands, there have been limited plus size lingerie and bra options.
And we are always here for more options… right? Now we must note, not all of the collection is available in the expanded size range. It is a strategic roll out. Not only do you have options in bras, but this also includes sizes expansion into the matching panties, loungewear and lingerie up to a 3X or size 8. Exciting, AND it is on us to make sure that we share with you what to know and expect from this size expansion at CUUP!
From Sleek to Sexy: CUUP’s Minimalist Approach Meets Inclusive Sizing
CUUP has built a name for itself by embracing the less-is-more philosophy in lingerie. Their designs are stripped of unnecessary padding, over-the-top embellishments, and restrictive wires that often come at the expense of comfort.
Instead, CUUP focuses on sleek, modern aesthetics with materials that celebrate the natural shape and beauty of women’s bodies. Their entry into plus size lingerie is not just a win for inclusivity but also for those of us who want to look and feel amazing—without sacrificing comfort or support.
CUUP’s expansion into larger band sizes is more than just an extended range. It signals a thoughtful approach to plus size lingerie, designed with us in mind. The brand’s signature styles—like their best-selling Balconette, Plunge, and Scoop bras—now come in extended band sizes, ensuring that we can experience the CUUP difference.
The plunge neckline or the balconette’s delicate structure are perfect examples of bras that make you feel supported and sexy without compromising on style. And since the pandemic, many of us have backed away from underwires and uncomfortable styles. This expansion is perfectly timed!
But it’s not just about adding more sizes—it’s about perfecting those sizes for the unique needs of plus size bodies. CUUP’s bras are designed to eliminate some of the most common frustrations we’ve faced: pinching bands, uncomfortable underwire, and unsupportive cups. Their bras are made with lightweight, breathable fabrics that conform to the body’s natural curves, ensuring that your bra works *with* you, not against you.
With the use of innovative materials like power mesh and micro-modal, CUUP manages to strike the perfect balance between lightweight and supportive—something that’s been sorely lacking in the plus size lingerie world. It’s refreshing to see a brand that understands that plus size women don’t need more padding or bulk—we just need bras that are thoughtfully engineered to function, fit, and support.
The Best of Both Worlds with CUUP: Comfort and Confidence
CUUP believes that confidence starts with a good foundation, and their bras are the ultimate base layer to any outfit. Whether you’re looking for something to wear under a power suit, a casual tee, or a daring date-night dress, CUUP has you covered—literally and figuratively.
In a world where plus size lingerie options are often limited to neutral, uninspired designs, CUUP’s extended range is quite welcomed. Their color palette—featuring soft neutrals, muted tones, and the occasional pop of bold color—means you can find something that suits your personal style, whether you’re all about classic black or daring red.

This new size range (44F-44G, 46C-46G, 48C-48F, 50C-50E) is a step (because they still have room to be more inclusive) in the right direction for the plus size community, proving that high-quality, stylish lingerie isn’t exclusive to smaller sizes.
Their approach shows that they’ve done their homework, addressing the unique fit needs of plus size women while delivering on style.
For those of us who have spent years searching for bras that fit well, feel great, and look fabulous, CUUP’s foray into plus size lingerie feels hopeful. Gone are the days of choosing between comfort and style—CUUP’s bras allow you to have the best of both worlds. We can experience the same luxury and attention to detail that CUUP has long offered in their core sizing, and it’s about damn time.
Size 8 underpants is “extending into the large range?” I wear a 32/34, size 14 undies, 52E and all I’m hearing again is “Not you.”
You’ll forgive me if I don’t give a damn what smaller women get to wear, again.
I wear cuup. Not the bras they arent large enough but I have been wearing the undeware and they are comfortable. Just make sure they are washed and air dried.
I wear a 44I or a 42K in Prima Donna bras, and a 44I in Paramour. These bra sizes don’t go high enough for me and others like me, and I’m wearing a 2X-3X top.
