I am so hyped for the change of seasons, the newness of clothing, and a great time to show off the thighs! I mean… why not? Right! Well, to help us stay chic and cool for the summer, plus size designers and brands have been on top of things, delivering on trend, functional, and fashionable plus size clothing. Such is the case with UK plus size brand, Evans and their latest collection from the Cut for Evans Collection!

Back for its latest and working with Nottingham Trent University, Cut for Evans returns for the summer with chosen winner, Gabriella Seal’s bohemian inspired collection!

Nottingham Trent University students were tasked and challenged to create and present an innovative collection “to empower the plus size woman and influence the plus size industry.”

Their choice is pretty cool to see, as Gabriella gives us a collection that pushes the plus size boundaries, while staying on point and on trend folklore style. Think gypsy, boho luxe, and summer festivals.

“The bold range of nomadic festival wear is designed to encapsulate the feeling of wanderlust and gypsy style.

The denim, printed organza and suede fringing may convey a laissez-faire attitude but these details were carefully considered to compliment the curves of the plus size market.”

How amazing is that crop top and matching pants set?! I need that immediately! While the collection offers a different style and vibe, I appreciate this collection and how it gives us something new and different for the summer season!

“I feel inspired by this inventive and unique collection. Gabriella has really focused on the Evans ‘Body Love’ message and her designs will challenge misconceptions of plus size fashion.

The Cut allows us to challenge stereotypes and illustrates that Evans will continue to pioneer forward thinking fashion for the plus size industry.” Rebecca Van Reicher, Head of Design at Evans
