I know you all know that the Atlanta leg of the Full Figured Fashion Week casting took place in Atlanta this Saturday, sponsored by The Curvy Fashionista. If you missed it, no worries! We have your recap! Listen, you don’t know how much fun we had. Yes, the models were there to present themselves in a professional capacity but spirits were high, attitudes were great and the vibe was right!
Before and after strutting their stuff for Gwen DeVoe and the Original Runway Diva, ladies networked and made new connects. This is what the FFFWeek brand is about.
And it was a packed house! Arriving early, the aspiring models arrived in style, eager to hear what the panelists had to say and share about the modeling industry. Taking notes from the questions left in our inboxes, the Curvy Fashionista, Marie Denee hosted and moderated a panel all about the plus size modeling industry.
Joined by industry veterans and experts, we had plus size designer, Jasmine Elder owner of Jibri, Gwen DeVoe creator of Full Figured Fashion Week and Sharon Quinn host of Model Behavior. The ladies shared their expert opinions and answered questions from the audience to help those who have a desire to impact the plus size community in a professional way, be it modeling or otherwise!
Thanks to DJ Fadelf and Luxe Sound Entertainment, here is a sneak peek at what you missed!
