In light of the madness that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals from major brands, Small Business Saturday is a welcome distraction from mainstream consumerism. We’re not quite sure what it is, but there’s something a little less frantic about supporting smaller brands that are still planting their seeds. And (of course) these deals come from plus size small business owners.
Small Business Saturday falls on Nov. 30 this year. A lot of small businesses started their sales on Black Friday and some are continuing through Cyber Monday. For some fashionistas, Small Business Saturday holds more weight than other holiday sales.
A lot of small businesses have more limited fabrics and styles, so when you get a piece from them it’s as if you’re getting something that’s a special edition. Plus, few others will own something so special as a dress or coat you’ll never find anywhere else again — least of all in your size.
Some small businesses have yet to reveal their sales. But you best believe there are plenty of small brands that have pulled up with some wild sales. And since sales like these aren’t coming back for a while, you better hop on it (with our help, of course). Here are some of the best Small Business Saturday Deals so far:
