Get ready ladies! We’re just a few hours away from the 9th annual Full Figured Fashion Week (FFFWeek)! A week where us curvy women take New York by storm and show them how it’s done! A week when the who’s who of the plus industry comes together to celebrate themselves and each other. Every day of the week there are events specifically created for the plus size community, that take place all over NYC!

It truly is a whirlwind of fun, fashion, and friends! Never a dull moment, FFFWeek has been bringing it and we have been in the house to support, volunteer, or attend- save one year! And with the event kicking off yesterday, I had to do a quick roundup of what you’d be missing, if you do not get your tickets! So, here 9 things I’m looking forward to for Full Figured Fashion Week!

ALL the Events!

Everyday there is a different event to celebrate our curviness! And who doesn’t like celebrating themselves or amongst a crowd of their peers?! I for sure love myself a good gathering! The always sold out White Cruise? Um… yes. The Big & Tall Fashion Show? Even better!

Penthouse? Party!

The first day kicks off with a an Arts, Music, & Film festival where you can meet and see Jonquel Norwood of Jonquel Art & there will be a screening of PLUS! documentary by Sandra Chuma!

Fashion. Fashion! FASHION!

Of course we’re going to be dressed to impressed from head to toe, but there are going to also be fashion shows, fashionable people, and fashion focused events throughout the week! Honey… I am ready for this! You can never tire of watching how the fellow curvy fashionistas put their spin on plus size fashion!

The All-White Cruise

Girl, the 7th Annual Curves at Sea All White Cruise! This year, the cruise is sponsored by Ashley Stewart and of course like every year, it will not disappoint! Networking, fashion shows, and ohhhh there will be dancing! On the boat, you get to chat it up with the who’s who of the plus size industry! I don’t know about you, but I’m already planning out the selfies I’ll be taking! So excited for this!

Killin’ the Runway

Well, at least you’ll learn how to! It’s going to be LIT! Christina Mendez, Frankie Tavares to share their experience, skills, and know-how! You should definitely be there for this!

Panels, Workshops, Discussion,OH MY!

FFFWeek is giving you the platform and spaces to talk about what’s on your mind! From the State of the + Size Community Panel to the Best Practices For Your Brand discussion we’ve got you covered!

BAE WALK?

This year we’ve got MEN! Yep you read that right! MEN! They are burning up this runway! The Big & Tall men are bringing it and since they’ll be showcasing their looks, they’ll also be in attendance at the other events! Plenty of time to mingle! Wink wink! lol

Sneak Peeks!

This year’s FFFWeek Curvy Expo? I am here for it. Throughout the day, I am excited to take a sneak peek at fall collections and sample sales, hopefully learn a few beauty tips, and catch up with some of my blogger boos!
