Fun at The Labels & Liquor Holiday Fashion Bash with Sassy City Chicks
What happens when you mix new designer collections, spa treatments, literal trunk shows and cars?
Last week Thursday, I attended the Sassy City Chicks Labels & Liquor Fashion Bash in L.A. and I had a blast!
After maneuvering through IE, OC, and LA Traffic, I made it in enough time to still get my press preview on! With my phone barely halfway charged, I made it to check in, picked up my badge and my uber cool swag bag, and was ready to play!
I caught up with Monique from Curves and Chaos and plus size model Denise Bidot! While we were waiting for the other half of the LA Fatshionistas that we knew were coming, we perused around the Peterson Automotive Museum. The first designer I came across was this really cool handbag designer, Christine Price. She had a few bags that caught my eye (Work, not play Marie, work not play).
As we started to walk around, we heard a rumor that they were taking people to Carls Junior in the newest lines of Chevy Cars and treating us to dinner! So, naturally we jumped in line!
We took off in our 2011 Camaro (quite sexy, but I need more room) and our driver was too cool!
While we finished our meal, we caught up with bloggers XOXO NikStar, Veronica from CidStyleFile, and stylist Reah Norman! But this time, THEY went off for the Carls Jr. trip and we went off to walk the fashion bash. When they got back, we stopped over to say hey! After taking turns doing the Denise Bidot Pose for the cameras, we went back in to take in more of the fashion!
Okay, Labels and Liquor was the perfect name for this event! Chock full of designers, free flowing cosmos, martinis, and Lemondrops paired with free beauty services- a girl could get lost in here for DAYS! I found quite a few jewelry designers that I fell in love with and finally met in person!
No clothes though. Â But I KNOW this will change next go round!
Overall, I had a GREAT TIME! Cars AND Fashion? YES. Both are direct ways into my heart. Â If you missed Labels & Liquor this time around, make sure you visit Sassy City Chicks to stay up to date with their latest events!
