Superfit Hero was founded in 2015 by Micki Krimmel with the mission of creating performance activewear that truly fits plus-size bodies. After listening to customer feedback, the company made a groundbreaking decision in 2020 to discontinue straight sizes and focus entirely on serving plus-size customers, expanding its range to sizes L–7X (US 12–42). Unlike many activewear brands that simply grade up straight-size patterns, Superfit Hero develops and fit-tests every garment specifically for plus-size bodies. Its collections include leggings, sports bras, shorts, tops, and swimwear designed to stay in place during movement, with technical fabrics and thoughtful construction that support everything from walking and yoga to marathon training. The brand has become a leader in size-inclusive fitness, centering fat athletes in its marketing and advocating for greater representation in sports and wellness.
