Founded by Caren Lettiere in 2012, Democracy Clothing was inspired by her personal search for jeans that fit her changing body after motherhood. Unable to find denim that balanced comfort, style, and support, Lettiere created a brand centered on designing clothing for real women rather than idealized body types. Democracy is best known for its “Ab”solution® collection, featuring patented construction details such as hidden elastic waistbands, mesh panels, curved back yokes, strategically placed pockets, and stretch fabrics that sculpt and support without sacrificing comfort.
