Eczema (Atopic dermatitis) is a skin condition that makes the skin red and itchy. Eczema often presents itself as severe dry skin with red or gray patches. Itโ€™s common in children but adults can also develop it. Eczema is a chronic condition and flare-ups can occur periodically depending on the severity. While there is no cure for eczema, there are several prescription and over-the-counter treatments for a flare-up. You should see your physician or dermatologist for specific treatments and recommendations for eczema.ย

While there is no known cure, there are several remedies that can help manage eczema on a daily basis. Now you can find several products at your local drug store that will help ease symptoms and keep your skin protected from the irritation that eczema brings. Natural remedies have also proven helpful in treating eczema symptoms. Honey has natural anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties that make it an ideal ingredient for treating a condition like eczema. A thin layer of manuka honey or other raw honey can be applied in a thin layer over the affected areas to help relieve your dry and itchy skin.ย

Eczema Honey, the brand known for its eczema treatments, can now be found at Target. This brand won an Allure Beauty award for their Oatmeal Hand Soap in 2020 and they are accepted by the National Eczema Association. Eczema Honeyโ€™s products range from face and body creams, body washes, and even lip balms all formulated to soothe and treat eczema. Theyโ€™ve recently extended their collection to include an Oatmeal Honey facial wash, hand sanitizer and a soothing facial cream. All of the products are made with clean ingredients, no harsh chemicals which are all locally sourced in the USA. You donโ€™t have to have eczema to use these products, theyโ€™re able to be used on all skin types.ย  Here are 5 products from Eczema Honey that we feel are worth checking out:
