It may be the end of summer but that doesn’t mean that you have to put away your summer dresses or your bathing suit just yet! If you haven’t heard, The Curvy Fashionista is heading on a TCFCruise to Cozumel, Mexico, on board the Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas! Yes! We’re gonna be cruisin’ for 5 whole days and this calls for all of the bathing suits and bikinis as we luxuriate poolside and deck side for the TCFCruise, with our fellow TCF cruisers!
Are you coming? Or do you have your own Cruise, tropical vacation (like Cancun for The Curvy Fest) planned these fall months? What are you going to wear? Have you been on a cruise? Do you have a holiday vacation planned before the holidays start?
Well this means that we have to get our holiday wardrobe together! I know that I need to get my holiday resort outfits together, stat. So, what we did is roundup a few suggestions and ideas of what to wear on a cruise and what to wear on a fall vacation, with these 10 style must haves!
Must Haves for the Fall Vacation and TCFCruise!
The Swimsuit
1st up we need our plus size swimsuits, not just one, but probably about 4! We need 2 bikinis, a really cute 1 piece and a fancy dramatic piece. You know for options to match your mood!
The Coverup
Now, we need the most amazing cover ups. You need your pereo, you need your easy breezy cover up, and you need something a little sexy. You have to have options, because you never know how you gonna feel!! Maybe you wanna get a little fancy or maybe you wanna relax, at the end of the day, you need options.
The Sunscreen
Next, you need your Sunscreen as a woman of color yes we need sunscreen! The same 30 SPF protection as your fairer skin sisters. There have been more than a few innovative brands that fashion sunscreen with our melanin in mind.
The Hat
Then, you need your hat! The bigger the flop, the better. Go dramatic! Have a little fun! Play around with the options and styles available to us! ANd girl, yes they do make hats for our bigger heads and those of us with bigger hair.

Your Travel Tote
You need a great carryall. Now, I will say when flying and traveling, it’s always best to use RFID cards to prevent someone stealing your personal information with a reader. With a great wallet and great travel bag, this will help all that!
