We’re all excited for the TCFStyle Expo, taking place this year in Atlanta, from August 11-12. This year will be my first IRL attendance at the event (no creeping on social and FOMO for me!!), and I’m especially excited for the Blogger Mastermind, taking place August 10!
My blog is almost 2 years old, and I’ve made some major leaps and strides, thanks to mentorship from bossbabes like Marie Denee – and I’m READY to be in the front row and learn from her at this event.
I sat down to chat a little 1:1 with Marie (prompted by her cohosting #PlusChat last night!), and learn more about what folks could expect.

BH: This is the first year you’re offering the Blogger Mastermind as a FULL day, can you share what prompted you to add a full day of blogger education?
MD: So, in the past, we have had a blogger brunch, which has been a lot of fun and full of networking. We’ve continually received feedback that bloggers want more. and really want to learn about the business of blogging – and, honestly, about my journey. So this year, with the help of Pepper from Pretty Plus Pep we did it!

BH: What will the structure of the day be like? Will you be teaching/speaking?
MD: You know it! Pepper helped give me the push to dedicate a full day, and the response has been HUGE. I’ll be speaking and teaching the whole day. This will be real, no fluff and no holds info I’ve learned from building The Curvy Fashionista. Also, participants will receive a workbook – this won’t just be a “Sit back and listen” kind of day. You’ll put in the work!!
But, it will be a day of learning about affiliate marketing, learning the tools you need in your blog belt, the ways to make money through blogging and more! #pluschat

BH: Something I’m excited for is to network IRL and offline with plus bloggers from around the country. Do you have any advice for bloggers who want to attend, but worry about coming solo without really knowing anyone?
MD: Yes! We will be holding a networking event with The Curvy Social on August 10, to help folks meet and network pre-expo. The event is for VIP ticket holders only, and I highly encourage nervous new faces to attend!
BH: Any other info bloggers need-to-know about the Blogger Mastermind day?
MD: Space is LIMITED to 50-75 people. This is going to be an intimate setting, with real work and insights. Because space is limited – once tickets are gone, they’re gone!
