Hey girl hey! I am back with a new challenge and new video with Burlington as part of the Burlington Style Squad! If you have been following me for the past few months, I have been doing a few more videos, thanks to the fab folks over at Burlington, shopping, sharing, and rocking out with a few new finds and deals! And for today’s challenge? Armed with a $100 gift card, I needed to find a plus size outfit to go out in, while taking a bit of inspiration from the 70s!
I will not lie.
It was a bit of a challenge, but when I thought about the whole fit, the accessories, shoes, and hair (ahem, new hair thanks to Sparkle Hyche), I think that it can all come together quite nicely for me!
So, my local Burlington has been undergoing a bit of a renovation and new floor set, which left me a bit discombobulated as I tried to shop the store, but thank God it was a Monday (it was fairly quiet and still nicely organized) I made it work and found a few goodies that I am going to share with you, but first check out the video above!
So what did I find?
Well, I found this little black and white skater dress number, that gave me a bit of 70s realness, with its sleeves and print, but with a modern touch! It is short, BUT paired with my opaque tights and boots, keeping it streamlined, I think I made it work!
But let me list out to what I scored!
My Dress = $16.99
My 2-pack Tights = $9.99
My Ring Sets= $5.99 x 3
My Bracelet = $3.99
My Curling Iron = $12.99
All for UNDER $75! I still have $25 leftover to shop! Woot!
Nothing is better than scoring deals and steals. I love a great high/low mix. And for me, I do not discriminate. I have items across the board in my closet when it pertains to price, style, and quality level! For me, if it fits nicely, is of fairly decent fabric and quality, and if the price fits, it is mine!
And for those of you wondering about the plus size fashion offerings… well, let me tell you:
Burlington has both Plus Size AND Junior Plus size fashion in all departments. AND their dresses go up through a 3X. AND in their Missy department, they have options that go up to a 16 for those of you inbetweenies!
And for that man in your life? There is a generous big and tall section too!
AND did you know that you can shop them online? Yes honey! YES.
ALSO, did you know that they give back? I have been in the giving back mode for a minute now and love a campaign with a cause! In partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk, Burlington’s 14th year of partnership with LLS is all about the fight against blood cancers.
YOU can donate $1 or more at checkout to help in the fight against blood cancer now thru December 2, 2015.
You can shop plus size fashion at BurligntonCoatFactory.com!
