Growing up I was always the fat friend. So much bigger than all the other girls I knew, I never had the opportunity to share clothes, shop together, or just be able to commiserate with another person who understood plus size issues. Thankfully that all changed when I got involved with the plus size blogging community; now I have more plus size friends than straight size friends!
But not every curvy girl has found her community, which is why I co-created a body-positive happy hour in Jersey City! Hosted by: @msgigggles me, @psitsfashion and @miaomalley, you are in for a fun evening filled with fashion, giveaways, and networking!
