I have a thing for denim. I love experimenting with it and talking about it. Since my days of working in retail, I know that finding the perfect pair of plus size jeans can be one of the hardest things to find and play in. The right mix of spandex, the perfect rinse, the ideal rise, you name it, I have talked about it all! So when I was invited to test out the newest denim options that Lucky Brand has to offer, I knew I had to highlight them AND their plus size denim must-haves at the same time!
With denim being one of the biggest trends for spring, I thought what a better way to introduce the trend than to talk about a few of the items that I am going to be adding to my closet, right? And when we talk about the denim trends that are already on shelves, I am NOT just talking about the jeans you rock on your legs, boo… Nope!
Denim for spring has found its way into just about every facet of clothing you can wear, thanks to new technology, brands are now giving us more than a few plus size options!
So, what do we have trending for spring? Let me share with you three options that you will be able to score at Lucky Brand!
3 Plus Size Denim Must-Haves for Spring!
1. The Denim Jacket
Girl, no… not the classic denim jacket that we all know and love. Think of a few more unique ways that denim can translate into your jackets, like this wrap kimono jacket! I have seen long-line denim jackets, denim trench coats, and even a few denim blazers, (all that I will be adding to my closet) but this denim Kimono Jacket? I am over the moon about it!
Paired with my leather midi? This Kimono is about to get a workout this spring. I can already see this with a bold hued midi dress. If I could find matching wide leg cropped jeans, girl, a fly suit could be had.

2. The White Jeans
I know, I know… white jeans can be quite a scary thing… BUT for the spring season, you are definitely going to see white, pale hues, and varying colors of denim! Why not face your fears and step out on faith?
A little trick I learned with white jeans is to not even focus on the fact that they are white. In addition, when you get a more substantial version of white denim, you do not find yourself tugging, pulling, and picking at them… or at least this has been my experience.
These white jeans are a cropped version, making it a little fun and playful, perfect for spring’s various options, and a great way to add a little sass! Right?

3.The Dark Indigo Denim
I am always >>here<< for a classic rinse, the original rinse, or a polished version of denim! With the trend of ripped jeans making its mark, sometimes you want to opt for something that can be worn for work, play, and every day. These indigo jeans do just that, giving me a few ways that I can rock them!
With a bodysuit, a blazer, or a tee… there are a variety of styling options that you can work with. On top of that, they are a jean legging blend? Girl… These jeans are COMFORTABLE. The stretch is JUST enough, with a great snapback or memory (meaning they do not sag on me). The rise (where it hits in relation to my belly button) is perfect for me!
I can already see myself rocking these rolled up, with sneakers; or stiletto strappy heels and a fly leather jacket!

Great options, right? Playing in denim does NOT have to be a scary feat at all, especially with the denim options that we have available to us, including Lucky Brand!
