Founded by designer Shavonne Dorsey, the label was born from her own frustration with the lack of polished, professional clothing available for curvy women. After a career in medical sales, Dorsey began sketching designs that reflected the confidence and sophistication she wanted to see in the marketplace, eventually launching her namesake fashion brand.
