Founded in Toronto in 2013 by designer Hilary MacMillan, the brand was built around contemporary womenswear that combines sophisticated tailoring with playful, fashion-forward design. Originally studying political science and economics, MacMillan pursued fashion after discovering a passion for design, eventually launching her namesake label focused on expressive, confidence-building clothing. Hilary MacMillan is recognized for colorful outerwear, vegan leather pieces, dresses, tailoring, knitwear, and elevated everyday separates.
