Some may know Jordyn Woods as the tag-along BFF to some of Kylie Jenner’s infamous Instagram photos, but honey is surely making a name for herself! The Wilhelmina-repped model is now collaborating with Addition Elle!
Per its website, Addition Elle “champions a fashion democracy, where style isn’t limited by size” with sizes ranging from 12 to 28. This is a match-made in heaven because 19-year-old Woods has had a relationship with the brand for a while that is only getting stronger with this official collaboration!
“They embody everything I stand for,” said Woods. “I’ve been working and modeling with them for years and it was amazing to bring our relationship full circle. They are a style destination for women who embrace their figures so it’s exiting to create something.”
The feeling is indeed mutual on Addition Elle’s side. Addition Elle Vice President Roslyn Griner noted that the brand will be taking Woods’ streetwear and ath-leisure fusion style and incorporating it into the collaboration.
“It’s a very on-trend assortment,” said Griner. “Jordyn loves streetwear and we wanted to make that a part of her collection.” Griner also added that Addition Elle has signed Woods to release a second capsule of the brand.
The collaboration line will have a retail range from $42 to $178 and will be available for purchase on September 11. New York Fashion Week lovers will get to see Woods show off the collection during Addition Elle’s runway show in September. A pop-up shop will follow the show so that first-look customers can snag some pieces.
Woods is a firm proponent of inclusion occurring in the most seamless way possible and is outspoken about her ultimate goals for her fellow curvy beauties. “I”m on the fence about the word plus sized,” Woods said. “Why do we need to categorize people by their size? There should be one section that has all size ranges.”
Woods still has a link to her best friend as she’ll be starring in the upcoming E! reality show, Life of Kylie. “We are so close so it was inevitable that I was going to be on the show,” said Woods. “But I’m very curious to see what direction my life is going to go after the show comes out. But I love to make everything positive, so I believe it’s going to be exciting to see a side of our lives that is this personal.”
