  • Much to my disappointment, The Limited is phasing out Eloquii this summer although they “have begun discussions with others who have expressed an interest in the future of the brand and/or its products” – https://www.facebook.com/eloquii/posts/478450028870938

What’s really sad is that they’ve only been out for a year and haven’t fully explored their retail options. I think that even having a capsule Eloquii selection in The Limited stores in other urban markets (Atlanta, NYC, LA, Houston) would have done a LOT towards building their client base. I don’t know the age demographics on the plus size market, but I do know most of the 35+ crowd are NOT going to buy exclusively online. I have a lot of other thoughts but I’d love to hear yours and I hope Marie does a post on it!
