The brand began as a direct-to-consumer label focused on creating timeless garments made from natural fibers such as linen, silk, hemp, and cotton. Its philosophy centered on producing fewer, higher-quality pieces designed to be worn for years rather than seasons. The company became widely recognized within the ethical fashion community for its transparent manufacturing practices, local production model, and commitment to fair labor standards. Unlike traditional apparel manufacturing systems, Elizabeth Suzann produced garments in-house and emphasized craftsmanship, worker well-being, and supply chain transparency. Long before size inclusivity became a mainstream conversation, Elizabeth Suzann offered an extensive size range and intentionally designed garments with relaxed silhouettes that accommodated diverse body types. The brand’s inclusive sizing became one of its defining characteristics and helped establish it as a leader within sustainable plus-size fashion. Today the brand offers sizing from XXS through 5X.
