FREE Plus Size Clothing Swap with Gordita y Bonita!

The Gordita Y Bonita Community Plus Size Clothing Swap is back and we are making space, making friends, and making fashion accessible.

This is more than a clothing swap. It is a safe space rooted in fat liberation, anti capitalism, Queer and BiPOC centered community care. It is where plus size baddies come together to reclaim style, smash systems of oppression, and leave with cute clothes for free.

If you wear a size 14 or XL and up, this space was created with you in mind.

Location details will be emailed the morning of the swap. To receive the address, be sure to subscribe to the email list when you RSVP.

Free street parking available.

How It Works

Clean out your closet and bring gently used pieces that no longer serve you. Think elevated, loved, and ready for their next life.

• Bring up to 40 items maximum
• Shoes, bags, and jewelry must be placed in clear ziplock bags
• Drop your items on the designated tables
• Browse and take what you love. No tickets. No points. No permission needed
• You do not have to bring clothes in order to take clothes
• Take as many pieces as you want

All remaining clothing will be donated to nonprofit thrift stores to keep the cycle of community care going.

What Not to Bring

We are building abundance, not clutter. Please do not bring:

• Stained, smelly, damaged, or unwashed items
• Clothing with broken zippers, missing buttons, heavy pilling, or visible wear
• Items smaller than XL or size 14
• More than 40 pieces
• Extra bags intended solely for donation. Please donate directly to nonprofit thrift stores if you have additional items

Why This Matters

This Plus Size Only swap is an intentional act of resistance. Against Eurocentric beauty standards. Against capitalism. Against climate change. Against the idea that plus size bodies should have limited access to style.

We believe fashion is for every body. We believe community care is radical. We believe sharing resources builds power.

This event is created and organized by Chelly, CEO and founder of XiCaliProducts. These swaps take real labor, time, and heart to produce multiple times a year.

To help keep this event free and sustainable, guests are invited to support by shopping the handmade CBD remedies available in studio during the swap.
