JodiAnn Stevenson strives to inspire and empower people to create their own unique definitions of health and well-being outside of the mainstream, weight-centric model of care. She is a Certified Body Trust ®️ Provider, Health Fitness Specialist, ACE-certified health coach, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, intuitive eating coach and registered yoga teacher at the 200hr level with advanced academic certificates in Group Fitness Instruction and Personal Training. JodiAnn is also a Size Inclusive Training Specialist, Body Positive Fitness Alliance FitPro, and a Yoga For All provider. As a 4th year doctoral student at the California Institute of Integral Studies, JodiAnn is currently researching the necessity for a paradigm shift away from weight-centrism and toward weight-inclusivity within the Health Fitness Industrial Complex. JodiAnn’s poetry and other creative writing has appeared in numerous print and online journals since 1996. She began blogging about body shame and the need to question diet culture in 2010 and publishing on these topics in 2023.
