Fat Babe Clothing Swap
March 1 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Philly babes, this one is for you.
A collaborative plus size clothing swap is returning this March, bringing together community, conscious fashion, and size inclusive style in a space designed for connection and care. Created in collaboration with local organizers, this event invites plus size folks to refresh their wardrobes in a way that is social, sustainable, and rooted in mutual support.
If you love the thrill of the find and believe fashion should work for our bodies and the planet, mark your calendar for this clothing swap.

What Is a Clothing Swap?
A clothing swap is a fun, sustainable way to redistribute clothing and reduce textile waste. Participants bring gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories they no longer wear and trade for new to them pieces brought by others.
There is no required one to one exchange. You do not need to bring the same number of items that you take home.
Unswapped items will be donated to local organizations including Punks with Lunch, Sisters Affirming Sisters, Philly AIDS, and The Wardrobe.
In addition to the swap, attendees can expect vendors selling artwork and other goods, plus an on site tattoo artist offering a “fat babe” flash.
What to Bring

• Accessories and shoes welcome
• Maximum of one trash bag of items
Items must be new or lightly used and in good condition. Please do not bring anything stained or anything you would not be excited to receive.
