Are you passionate about sharing your expertise or experience in the plus size fashion and lifestyle arena? Do you have an idea for an article or series around the themes of plus size fashion, beauty, body politics, body image, entertainment, travel or another topic at the intersection of plus and?

 

When we started in 2008, our vision was to provide the plus size community with an exciting resource and empowered community.  As our platform grew, so did the diversity of the readers. 

 

And Now? We are looking for voices to help reflect the ever-growing plus size audience we serve!

We are always excited to work with guest contributors to gain unique perspectives on a wide range of topics including (but not limited to) body image, personal style, styling tips, topical opinion-based content, and more.  

 

We currently pay a flat rate per article and are looking for reliable, diligent, and passionate contributors to grow our editorial team. Get in touch if you are happy to share your content and are open to promoting your brilliant work with us.

Guest Contributor Guidelines

Please pitch your content ideas to us before you write the actual article. Ideally, contributed posts must:

 

  • Contain min 2 high quality images no higher than 72dpi, 1000px at largest point
  • 1 square thumbnail image no higher than 72dpi (can be the same as one of your post images)
  • Include at least 800 words
  • Include/provide working links to any sourced information or materials
  • Be completely original, not posted elsewhere, and distinct from articles already posted on thecurvyfashionista.com (this includes from your own site)
  • Provide a clear takeaway or learning for readers. Use headings, subheadings and numbered lists/bullets to structure your writing.

 

We reserve the right to edit the content you submit but this will primarily be done to correct errors or make the content more readable.

All final drafts should be accompanied by an author bio and photo(150*150 px). The author bio should be 40 to 50 words long and may include 1 link to your website’s homepage with a brand name anchor text.

When your article goes live, we will ask that you share it on your social platforms, tag us as applicable, and include the hashtag #tcfstyle

By submitting an article, you agree to us using it on our website (with any changes and updates we deem suitable) and you will not claim for payment or copyright infringement now or in the future.

When the article is published on our website, it is then owned by us and you are not permitted to re-publish the article without our prior written approval.

Please don’t send us press releases or sales pitches.

Fake product reviews, advertorials, and similar types of content are unacceptable and will not be published.
