How many times do you take a picture and hate it. The way you stand, the shape of whatever part you nitpick your body about? YOU know what I mean… I have my own foavortie pose too, I will not lie. So much so that my family and friends mock me when taking photos, I don’t care, it is comfy for me! ROFLMAO! I mean, Look:
So, when I saw this post by our newest addition to contribute, Brittany Shavonne, I had to share and break this thought and idea down a bit, So, please let me share with you what Brittany peeped and shared and then let us know your thoughts!
Striking Plus Size Poses
No not for modeling, but you know, in everyday situations when you want to ensure your pic is what YOU want it to be! LOL… real talk!
One thing about being curvy? We can’t always do anything and still look good in a picture! SOME totally kill it, and some of us, like me, can feel a bit awkward. I totally commend full-figured models for always looking effortlessly flawless! For those of us who don’t have the camera tricks down to the wire like the models, here are some poses for inspiration!
THE LEG CROSS POSE:
Curvy blogger and model, Tanesha Awasthi gives life with her cute and classy leg cross pose as she flaunts her baby bump! (Congrats Tanesha!)

THE PIGEON TOE POSE:
Curvy model and blogger, Chastity Garner nails this pose with perfection! Now I know I’m going to sound a little crazy saying this, but the pigeon toe pose is actually cute! Back in the day, walking like a pigeon was ratchet, but who ever said that the pose had to be? So many high fashion models do this pose and I love it! It just does something in a photo!

THE FOOT/LEG POP POSE:
Curvy blogger and model, Ragini Nag Rao, brought back my fondest memory from watching the Princess Diaries! (Remember when they spoke about getting kissed so good that your foot pops?) Not only do these poses give your body a slimming look from a side angle, but they just give you that cute and girly demeanor!

THE ONE LEG UP/ONE LEG OUT POSE:
Curvy model and blogger, Nadia Aboulhosn, graces us with the variations of this pose! What’s great about one leg up one/one leg out is that you avoid battle of the bulge by giving your body room for balance and good posture, which are keys to perfecting your curves for a photo!

You better believe I will try a few of these above and a few from below!
