We interviewed transgender and non-binary people that self-identify as fat about their opinions on androgyny in fat fashion.
A few weeks ago I shared with you that the plus size industry is changing, growing, and evolving. Not only are there more designers, there are more plus size models who are serving it on the runway, in campaigns, and in fancy shoots.
Last year, Plus Model Magazine fashioned a list like this one with familiar faces and friends! For 2013, they have a new list with new faces, familiar faces, and quite a few working the size 16! As Plus Model Magazine shares on their post:
“Last year we saw a significant increase in the use of size 16 models when compared to the previous 5 years. Size 16 models were seen modeling for brands such as Ashley Stewart, Monif C, Reitmans, Old Navy, SWAK Designs, Lane Bryant and others.”
How did these ladies make the list? This year’s list includes plus-size models from agencies all around the world. You know the ones who are making their mark, turning heads, chatting it up online, and really engaging the community. BADDDD curves are only the first part of it! According to PMM, they have received the most “Likes” on the PMM Facebook page and have impressed their clients and fellow models with their personality, natural beauty and professionalism.
