You know, there is something inherently sexy about the retro styled brand, Pinup Girl Clothing. I have been familiar with the brand for some time now and today, I had the chance to play dress up in their clothing! When they approached me to take a whirl in a fit or two, I was naturally curious as to how I could make this work for my current style journey, and guess what? I made it work, excitedly!
Being made in America and designed by women, I wanted something that spoke to the wild child inside of me- the bold, sexy, confident woman that didn’t mind tapping into her feminine side… I mean, with the shades of red that I have been playing with, it has definitely awoken a side of me long dormant and I wanted her to come out and play, and have a little fun!
NOTE: I must add, I’m wearing this dress with the criss cross in the back, opposite of how it’s intended to be shown/worn! Just a heads up!
Here is how it is shown on the site:
So, to choose from the 230 styles available is up to a 4x was a bit of a challenge! I wanted something that could translate across various occasions and seasons (I love a great dress with versatility) and I think I found it in this fun and sassy Voodoo Vixen Dress from Deadly Dames by Micheline Pitt number! What is even cooler? You will find them showing plus and straight sized together and on their own page. I dig this. Hard.
About this dress? I could not have been happier! I mean a dress that nips in at the waist, plays up my cleavage, and hits mid-calf? I literally was in heaven, having wayyy too much fun with it!
And guess what? This cotton dress is lined and has a bit of room to play in! I mean I can go dancing, out for a fun dinner and drinks, and not have to worry about popping out of my dress! Ha! You know what I mean!

Not only do they sell clothing, but they excitedly dabble in accessories, shoes, and lipstick! I mean, what is a throwback look without her red lip!?! I put on the Coco Noir lippie from the Julie Hewett Noir Collection and accessorized with the Paris Clutch and away I went! Woot!
