My Style: Empowered and Beyond at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon

So, this week, I have two outfit posts for you!

Last week, I had the honor of being a guest of L’Oreal Paris USA at the Essence Magazine’s Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. Last week, I recapped the event, and today, I wanted to share with you my outfit!

Being that it was a luncheon and I had to be a bit fancy, I opted for the Black Leather Peplum dress I bought from Simply Be! I had been waiting for the right time to play in this one and VOILA, this opportunity presented itself!

I wanted to be chic without over the top… I did not know what the day would hold; all I knew was that it was going to be all kinds of fabulous! So I had to be as comfortable and pulled together as possible! Oooohh AND I had my face beat by an L’Oreal Paris USA Pro! Beauty by Andy came to my house and set me up for my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was sooo busy taking pictures of everyone else that I didn’t get too many of my look, but on my two hour drive home, I snapped my accessories! LOL

And while there, I caught up with some of my blogger boos! Angel from Concrete Loop, Patrice from Afrobella, Sinay from True Beauty, Folake from Style Pantry, and Felicia from Loving Your Hair With Natural Care! I also ran into Ms Andrews from Glamazons Blog and Luxetips!
