Do you Love Your Body- Chenese and Whitney want you to!

Whitney Thompson and Chenese Lewis for Love Your Body Day

L.A. is notoriously known for their stereotypes of the “Thin is in” mentality- yet something is in the air in Southern Cali…

Although you cannot drive down the 60, 10, or 15 freeways without the Lap Band ads knocking you on the head or the commercials with the Lap Band jingle, the plus size women of LA and its surrounding areas sift through this noise- tuning into the channels of positive body imagery- the kind that both Whitney Thompson and Chenese Lewis have recently shot – in the nude!

Chenese Lewis collaborated with 2010 Love Your Body Day host, Whitney Thompson in a beautiful and confidence oozing shot by the talented Inez Lewis.

What is Love Your Body Day?

Last year I attended an inspirational event of dancing, fashion, and women who oozed style, confidence, and panache- all rising to the challenge of loving their body. And that they did. This year, Chenese is challenging societal views to illustrate the beauty of women of all colors, shapes and sizes with a jam-packed three day weekend of festivities!

Dear God you have no idea how true that is!!!

  • I actually have not heard the lap band jingle but then again I try to void watching too much TV. I did put some articles on my blog about lap band surgery. And TRY to be more open to the idea but I truly believe that doctors have a personal financial interest and most will push many to go with the surgery although the surgery is risky.

They won’t tell you this…of course.
