If Donna Karan Fashioned a Plus Size range
Playing looky-loo with Christina from Musings of a Fatshionista, she and I went on a fashion hunt to preuse which looks from the designers Saks announced that would be extending their size range.  After gasps and a little fashion intoxication, I kind of fashioned a wish list of items I would love to clothe my curves in (for that moment I am balling out of control to shop!).  Some of the designers I already lust after are Donna Karan, Akris, and Alexander Mc Queen! Today’s favorite lust? Donna Karan.
I have an extremely special place for Donna Karan. In my former life, I was a DKNY specialist for a major high end retailer and this is when I fell in love with the line. The style aesthetic, clean lines, lovely fabrics, and on top of that, Miss Donna has her own curves- so she understands the body- I have been in love! With half of my wardrobe (and my sister’s due to updating and purging) being DKNY, knowing that her line was listed as one of the designers stepping into a higher size range, I was geeked and elated!
That on top of the fact that years ago, Donna Karan did try to fashion her line, DKNY in plus sizes. I think that they were WAY ahead of their time, and NOW is THE TIME to strike and revamp this collection. I’m just sayin…
Now I know that their sizing (especially McQueen) will have a European cut (read: smaller), but a girl can dream, no? Throwing in a little bit of Marc Jacobs lustery with his recent tweet-play of plus size aspirations, I cannot wait for Fall! Now  I know I am stepping out on faith here, but she is one designer I think that will have their collection up to at least a 16, hoping for higher!
I have perused the Fall collections from Donna Karan and here is my dream wish list of plus sized proportions:
