It’s the type of fabric that just has several personalities — ’70s rocker chic, sexy, playful, fashion risk-taker and festive.  It’s just as versatile as the white shirt -mix and match it with denim, metallic, lace and even leather. You can dress it up or down and it transitions easily into your fall and winter wardrobe.

Can we talk for a minute about about this mock neck dress in taupe and velvet trench in wine? Talk about divine! Have you already been a fan of velvet? Have you dipped your toe into this or have you shied away from the formality of it?! I want to hear from you!

Which is your favorite? How do you feel about velvet? I’ll wait.

  1. OMG! I am obsessed with all thing velvet right now!I also had to research what was the difference between velvet and velour, because I was using the terms interchangeably on the blog. I discovered ELVI because of this post and I hate you for it!! haha
I wish we had more plus retailers in Canada though, the British taxes make it so expensive to ship over here!
