Getting My Pop Culture Fix with XFINITY

XFINITY On Demand

I have been a long time customer of XFINITY and Comcast. Ever since I started my blog seven years ago, I had been an avid user of all three services- cable, phone, and of course, internet. So when XFINITY asked me to share my experiences and a few of my favorite on demand choices, I quickly jumped at the opportunity! When I heard that Google Fiber is coming to my neighborhood, I was curious about it and did a little research to make a choice about my connectivity needs! I did some research, as there are many choices to choose from for all of my connectivity needs, and I am gonna roll with XFINITY for a few reasons, and at the top of the list? It is easy.

XFINITY On DemandBut what is even better for my random blog life? On Demand. Listen. When life begrudgingly has me away from the television and twitter, when I am usually live-tweeting the newest Scandal with y’all, On Demand is my saving grace to get caught up on all of my shows. I mean… there are a few other options to rewatch, but nothing beats the TV screen and XFINITY On Demand helps me do that. I even have a mini watch party with my friend to catch up on Once Upon a Time! We do NOT play with Evil Emma!

XFINITY On DemandBut did you know that:

  • XFINITY’s On Demand library hosts more than 150,000 free choices. While other competitors only carry around 17,000?
  • XFINITY On Demand gives you 9x more free TV shows and movies than Google Fiber?
  • XFINITY allows you to access that On Demand library of TV shows and movies from your mobile devices, meaning you’ve got access to more than 21,000 select TV shows and movies you can watch on the go on your tablet or smartphone?

I did NOT know that my downloads apply to the mobile devices on the plane, and with as much as I travel, I may have to check that one out, instead of waiting until I get home to watch the show! Woot! You can check out the comparisons and offerings over on XFINITYFacts.com!

Are you an On Demand user? Which shows are on your must watch list? My life isn’t all plus size fashion! LOL.  Asides from Bones, The Blacklist, Empire, Power, and a few others, I do have my favorites!

My Top Three On Demand picks?XFINITY On Demand

  • Scandal
  • Game of Thrones
  • Once Upon a Time

Sometimes I do poke around to see what I can watch, especially if I am in the mood to watch a specific movie! Like 2015, Independence Day, and The Day After Tomorrow! I mean with over 150,000 choices, it is quite easy to find something you love and need to watch!

If you find yourself trying to decide with which carrier to play with, make sure you check out XFINITYFacts.com.

Everything! My DVR works overtime! Empire, American Crime, Shameless, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, HTGAWM, Blackish. Then there’s my sci fi shows; Arrow, Flash, Grimm, Orphan Black, Doctor Who, The Expanse to name just a few.

I’ll be honest. I was a long time Xfinity customer, but Verizon came through with a deal I couldn’t beat. Lower bill, premium channels free for 2 years and rebates for paying bills in full for 3 mths.On top of that and most important, my reception is much better. My signal would often go out and I think Xfinity took for granted that they were pretty much the only show in town and really didn’t respond well.

On demand is a wonderful service, I don’t think I could survive without it.
