My Style: Keeping it Simple on my Bday in NY
On my birthday, I was in New York for Fashion Week. While we are still recapping shows and events, and thoughts, I wanted to share with you shamefully the ONLY real outfit I got of myself while in New York…
I KNOW. BUT LOOK WHO I MET!
But hey, it was also my bday and I was running around and was trying to stay comfy! LOL Like that really happens! But any whoooo… I kept it sleek and chic in black!
Rocking out in a bodycon dress from Sealed with a Kiss’s Core Collection, I really love this dress. Knowing the amazing ways that I can have this dress worn for the life of this dress, I am pumped. The cotton is soft and it moves with you quite well. I did not feel like I was restricted, meaning that it breathes well for me (I am a sweater).
I paired this with my OG Addition Elle Peplum Belt! You know the one from this post? Mhhmmm I played out in this one! LOVE it… and then I paired this look with my latest IDEELI score! These pointed toe, peek a boo, gold plated, ankle strap! FIERCE! I love these and was surprised about the suppleness of the leather. Running around all day, this worked for me, especially since it was my birthday and I KNEW I would be sipping throughout the day. I didn’t need ANY accidents!
- Dress: Sara Short-Sleeve Body Con: Sealed with a Kiss
- Belt: Addition Elle
- Shoes: DMSX Sly Flats by Donald Pliner on IDEELI (invite here)
As usual I laid on the jewels!
On my head? Earrings from Kueenz and Kingz and Nameplate necklace by Jane Basch
My LaMer Wrap watch, bracelets from Jewelmint, my ring from Jewelmint, and others from Ideeli a while ago!
More on my NYFW recap with Lucky Magazine, but I had to share with you how I rocked an all-black look!
Special thanks to Alissa from Stylish Curves for this pic! 😀
What do you think? Did I make this work?
