The Tadashi Shoji show was nothing short of confident and beautiful. Before I dive into the collection it was fabulous to see Amber Riley sitting next to Miss J aka J. Alexander. Although, I do wish she had been more daring with her wardrobe and showed off her beautiful curves with a bolder color, not just a black dress. But, as I like to say when in doubt always go with classic black. Also, front and center were Bella Thorne, Jessica White and many others.
The Spring/Summer 2014 Collection was exceptional. You had beautiful bodices with crystals. Pastels with light hues of Lavender and Eggshells. You had the contrasts between darker and lighter hues. You had overlays of sheer fabric over embellished patterns. The models flowing hair created a soft and feminine canvas. In the simplest of terms it was girly and beautiful and just what you would expect from Tadashi Shoji.
For all of the curvy and plus size beauties out there if you have ever had the great joy of seeing his plus size evening gowns you know that his designs are meant to empower you. You don’t have to hide behind your clothes with his silhouettes’.
My Tadashi Shoji Spring 2014 Favorites
You are on a beautiful pedestal when it comes to wearing Tadashi Shoji. His clothing makes you feel strong, put together and embrace your womanly curves.
Some of the designs I personally wouldn’t wear for personal reasons because for me and I think every woman fashion speaks loudly to who we are and what we stand for. But his silhouettes and innovative look at who we want to be is spectacular.

I always love seeing his designs go down the runway because each piece feels as if it is floating. Each model is walking on a cloud created by the masterful hand of Tadashi Shoji.
