So, recently, Neiman Marcus introduced JilRo, a new plus size designer, in which I was featured on their page talking about one of my favorites from the collection! I was even more geeked when I had chance to rock a piece from the collection!
Let me tell you about JilRo.
“JilRo was created because we noticed the fashion industry was lacking a stylish, high-end clothing collection for women of all sizes, 0-24. We believe all women can wear unique shapes, styles, and colors and they should be available to everyone. All women are beautiful and deserve to have the opportunity to feel confident and chic.”
What I Chose and am Wearing
I opted for a pair of pants. I wanted something a bit different from my regular get up, something that would be a great classic staple in my closet, and fun to wear! So I chose the Warhol Wide-Leg Pants in Chocolate Brown. Knowing that fall was going to be adorned with jewel tones and looking for something different than black, I knew I would love them.
And guess what? They are kind of amazing. Pants are always tricky. These though? After giving my size blindly? Yes. In a size 18, these were a score. But this isn’t the coolest part. I am 5’8”. These pants are LOOOONNNGGG. Like I am rocking 4” inch heels in this pic and they graze the floor! (To the alterations team I go!) In addition, they hug my hips JUST right and feel divine! The drape (way the garment hangs) is quite nice! The weight is perfect enough that I do not have to worry about overheating. And interesting enough, I noticed very little wrinkling, unlike my top! LOL
What I wore with them:
- Teal top I got last year from Dorothy Perkins
- Kelsi Dagger Pumps I scored from Ideeli (I told you I am addicted to them)
- Timex Modern Originals Sport Chronograph (STAY tuned!!! A giveaway right around the corner!)
What do you think? Do you like the fit of them on me and how I styled them?
