So, if you are anything like me, you purge your closet on a regular. My mom and sister LOVE me for it! LOL! However, when there are items that my sister or my mother won’t rock, I am usually left stuck with clothes that I usually end up donating… BUT what if the items are still like new or could go a few more rounds?
Thanks to the advent of social media, there are quite a few options for women and bloggers alike! One of the places that I was invited to play with is Threadflip!
What is Threadflip?
“Threadflip is pioneering a new social shopping experience by offering women a simple way to convert their closets into a dynamic boutique-like experience, connecting buyers with sellers, and capturing the collaborative energy of shopping with friends. We hope to revolutionize the world of online shopping by providing a new way to discover, buy and sell fashion.”
The process is quite simple! As you upload your items, you get to be as descriptive as possible! Choose colors and set your own price for the items! Threadflip automatically adds shipping into your price, which is a flat rate of $7 for me! Easy peasy!
What kind of designers will you see on there? YSL, Old Navy, Gucci, Jeffrey Campbell, Nine West… seriously all over the place in a fun way!
BUT, this isn’t even the cool part…
You can follow certain people whose style you love and are automatically notified when they have new items! In addition, you can offer to TRADE items rather than sell!!! COOL!?! Huh? Kind of like your virtual online swap shop! I mean I already have a trade offer on two pair of shoes I uploaded! LOL
AND if you want to get really creative, you can upload each item onto pinterest and voila you have a board of all of your items to sell! SWEET!
I have uploaded a few items, shoes and dresses to get a feel for this and I think I like and love it! I was hesitant at first, but I am already getting ready to upload more today!
So for all of you who are trying to figure out what to do with your newly used or carefully worn items, from jewels to shoes to clothes, take a look at Threadflip to see if it is for you!
Will I see you on there?
